It is with great sorrow to report that Warwickshire U19 Manager and former WCCC Committee Member, Hugh Cherry passed away over the weekend. Hugh has been the under 19 manager for over 40 years and dedicated much of his time to Warwickshire youth cricket, both at county and school level.

He has played his part to help the likes of Gladstone Small, Asif Din, Dominic Ostler, Ian Westwood and current club captain, Jim Troughton to go on to play for Warwickshire CCC. 

Chief Executive Colin Povey stated "Hugh was a brilliant servant to the club, and devoted his life to cricket. He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time".
