Warwickshire all-rounder Darren Maddy was on hand to celebrate the Gala Events WCB Under-15 League Cricketers of the Year for 2012 and to present three players with their awards.

Saahir Mubarik from Walmley CC and Mohammed Akhtar, Kings Heath CC, were the Gala Events Premier League Cricketers of the Year whilst Karanjit Sahota was the WCB B&H Images Under-15s Championship Player of the Season.

Karanjit plays for Leamington Khalsa and scored two hundreds in the 2012 league, hitting 10 sixes in one of his innings.
