Warwickshire have been drawn against their local rivals Worcestershire in the Group stages for next year’s Clydesdale Bank 40 over competition.

The Bears, who tied scores with Hampshire in last Saturday’s CB40 Final at Lords only to lose on most wickets lost, will participate in Group A of next year’s tournament along with  Kent, Netherlands, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Sussex, and Worcestershire.

The winners of the three groups and the best second-placed team will qualify for the semi-finals with the full tournament schedule and other County fixtures for the 2013 season set to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

 

GROUP A

Kent, Netherlands, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Sussex, Worcestershire Warwickshire.

GROUP B

Lancashire, Derbyshire, Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Scotland, Surrey.

GROUP C

Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Middlesex, Somerset, Unicorns, Yorkshire.
