Club celebrates volunteer's efforts at County OSCAs
On the last day of LV County Championship cricket season at Edgbaston for this season, the county OSCAs (Outstanding Services to Cricket Awards) was held in the Marston’s Suite during the tea and evening session.
The OSCAs is a celebration of hard work done by volunteers in cricket clubs within Warwickshire.
Richard Johnson was the guest presenter who took part in a question and answer session, which enabled volunteers to gain an insight into his preparation and the development period he went through before winning a professional contract with the Bears.
There were eight categories to recognise during the presentation and they were to following.
Massive congratulations go to all the OSCA winners and a huge thank you for all their efforts in their respective clubs. Without volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes many cricket clubs would not be able to sustain.
Thank you also goes to Ed McCabe for presenting the day, Roger Wootton for the photos, the Bill Lloyd Memorial Trust Fund for its kind sponsorship of the event and Richard Johnson as host.
