Local School Children get Chance to Shine at Edgbaston
Edgbaston welcomed children from five schools to today’s third day of Warwickshire’s LV= County Championship match against Yorkshire as part of their affiliation to the Warwickshire Cricket Board’s Chance to Shine programme.

Warwickshire County Cricket Club can confirm that batsman Laurie Evans has fractured the fifth metacarpal in his left hand after being hit by a Steve Finn delivery in the LV= County Championship match against Middlesex.

The ICC has announced the schedule of warm-up matches to be played in the lead-up to the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 to be staged at Cardiff Wales Stadium, Edgbaston and The Oval from 6 to 23 June.
